At the HAMK Riihimäki campus students study in a modern academic environment where learning is based on working life and its development. The learning environment in Riihimäki is a diverse and international one. Students from five different degree programmes study at this Education and Research Center for Technology

The students have access to high-quality teaching facilities that are well-equipped with developed audiovisual technology. Furthermore, there are several laboratories in use at the Riihimäki campus, all of which offer opportunities for product and operations development as part of teaching. The Riihimäki campus is also equipped with modern systems for machine design. These include a classroom for computer-aided design equipped with the most important software. A particular emphasis has been placed over recent years on modeling and structural analysis programs. Research at the campus is supported by the acquisition of a new laser technology. The related research allows high technology to be transferred into company use.
