The Mechanical Engineering and Production Technology degree programme will equip you with knowledge of modern engineering and the skills needed in the increasingly international working environment. You will obtain the core engineering skills needed in developing machinery, equipment, products and processes. During your studies, you will work closely with computer-aided design and modeling, computer-controlled manufacturing and automatic testing.
Students can choose from two majors:
- Production Systems
- Design of Mechanics
And three minors:
- Design for Manufacturing
- Product Development Project
- Management (in Finnish)
Courses are also available in our specialization area of laser technology.
