Our degree programme is conducted in Valkeakoski, a town situated in the Southern Tampere Region. Valkeakoski lies only 35 kilometers south of Tampere and 150 kilometers north of Helsinki, the capital of Finland. In Valkeakoski you can live comfortably and spaciously. Living expenses and rents are approximately one-third lower in Valkeakoski than in Tampere, where many students also choose to live during their studies.
Modern Facilities and International Atmosphere
Our unit operates in modern premises at the heart of the Valkeakoski Campus and co-operates actively with the surrounding company and school networks. There are three degree programmes in our unit all of which are conducted completely in English. In these degree programmes you can study either a commercial BBA degree (International Business) or an Engineering BEng degree (Automation Engineering, Industrial Management). Internationality is therefore a strong characteristic in our unit.
At this moment we have more than a hundred foreign degree students from nearly thirty different countries and we host more than sixty exchange students every year. Also the members of our qualified personnel come from several different countries.
