Construction Engineering students study at the Visamäki campus in the City of Hämeenlinna. Construction Engineering provides diversified study opportunities and a modern study environment with a building laboratory and high-quality, well-equipped teaching facilities. Our campus is surrounded by nature just a short trip away from the centre of Hämeenlinna. You can also find student accommodation at Visamäki, walking distance away from the school.
Hämeenlinna is situated in southern Finland and it is only a short distance away from Finland’s capital city, Helsinki. Tampere, our third biggest city is also only 80 km away. There are very good traffic connections to everywhere. The city of Hämeenlinna was founded in 1639 and at the present moment the population is little over 47,000.
Visamäki campus is very diversified as there are many degree programmes from different fields in the same area. All together there are almost 1000 students. Construction Engineering is the only international degree programme in Visamäki but there are seven other degree programmes which are all taught in Finnish:
