Major and Minor Subjects, Locally and Globally
Process Automation and Maintenance as a Major
The major subject of automation engineering consists of two modules: Automation Design and Technology in Automation. You will first learn how to design real cad based applications and then widen your know-how in that field. Finally, you will aggregate these areas in a real project work.
Take your Best Pick as a Minor You can choose two elective minor subjects, 15 cr each, among the following minors: Industrial Business Service and Maintenance, Information Technology in Automation and Information Control in Manufacturing. You will most likely carry out a project either for AutoMaint, a special learning environment of the Valkeakoski Unit, or a real industrial company together with your coaches and student colleagues. You can also minor in other special fields within Automation Engineering in other degree programmes in HAMK, Finland or abroad.
International Studies You can spice up your curriculum with the offering of HAMK’s wide network of partner universities outside Finland.
