Exchange Students

HAMK: HAMK in English: Students: Exchange Students

Exchange studies

Exchange students can come to HAMK through European Union programmes, such as Erasmus. HAMK has bilateral agreements with about 100 educational institutions abroad. The whole exchange programme system is based on these bilateral agreements. In special cases, students can be accepted from outside the above schemes. After students have completed studies at HAMK, they will receive a transcript of records as defined in ECTS.

Erasmus Intensive Language Courses

EILC courses (Erasmus Intensive Language Courses) are language courses in the less widely used or taught European languages, including the two official languages of Finland, Finnish and Swedish.

They are targeted for incoming foreign Erasmus students who wish to study either the Finnish or the Swedish language before starting their Erasmus exchange period in Finland. For further information, please visit these pages.

However, you should always discuss this opportunity with the coordinator of the degree programme.
