Exchange students can come to HAMK through European Union programmes, such as Erasmus. HAMK has bilateral agreements with about 100 educational institutions abroad. The whole exchange programme system is based on these bilateral agreements. In special cases, students can be accepted from outside the above schemes. After students have completed studies at HAMK, they will receive a transcript of records as defined in ECTS.
The International Semester courses listed below are meant for exchange students from our partner institutions and for the students of HAMK. These courses are always lectured in English. Some of the regular courses offered by the degree programmes can also be delivered in English, if necessary. If you are interested in regular courses being lectured in English, you should discuss this opportunity with the coordinator of the degree programme.
In some degree programmes it is possible for the exchange student to carry out the work placement period in Finland. Work placement includes working in a company or in projects of HAMK as well as studies supporting placement. However, you should always discuss this opportunity with the coordinator of the degree programme.
